This policy explains what information Legal Access 868 ("we", "us") collects when you use our AI-powered legal information platform, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and the services offered on it.
Questions you ask. The text you submit to the AI assistant or in a brief request, so we can answer it. Legal questions can be sensitive — please do not include names, ID numbers, or details that are not needed to answer your question.
Contact details. Your email address if you request a brief, subscribe to the Know Your Rights guide, or contact us.
Payment information. Payments are handled by third-party payment processors; we receive confirmation of payment but do not store your full card details.
Usage data. Standard analytics (pages visited, device type, approximate location) via Google Analytics, and server logs via our hosting provider, Cloudflare.
To answer your questions and deliver briefs; to send you the guide or updates you asked for; to operate, secure, and improve the service; to meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
Questions you submit are processed by third-party artificial-intelligence providers to generate answers. We share only what is needed to produce the response. Treat anything you submit as content that will be machine-processed, and leave out unnecessary personal details.
Service providers who help us run the platform — hosting (Cloudflare), analytics (Google), AI model providers, payment processors, and email delivery — under terms that limit their use of your information. We may also disclose information where the law of Trinidad & Tobago requires it.
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above — for example, brief requests and correspondence for as long as needed to deliver and support the product, and analytics on the schedule set by the analytics provider — after which it is deleted or anonymised.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures (encrypted connections, access controls, reputable providers) to protect your information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you emails (every email also has an unsubscribe link). Make any request through the contact page and we will respond within a reasonable time, consistent with the Data Protection Act of Trinidad & Tobago.
We use cookies for analytics (Google Analytics) and to make the site work. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still function.
The service is not directed at children under 18, and paid products may only be purchased by adults. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information.
